A STORY OF DESIGN

I have always loved design and colour. This started in my twenties when I had my own furniture design business in Bali, Indonesia.

I met my husband Jonathan and moved to Sydney, where we co-creating independent eyewear brands Jono Hennessy and Carter Bond. I worked with the acetates and colours, creating unique and unusual designs and patterns.

After selling the brands in 2018, we had a sea change and moved to the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney.

I decided to combine my great loves of needlecraft, colour and design - and Made By Hands was born.
